The Dragon Boat Festival, celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the lunar calendar, is a time-honored tradition filled with rich cultural significance.
One of the festival’s most beloved treats is the rice dumpling, made with glutinous sticky rice and filled with a variety of savory or sweet ingredients such as meats, vegetables, and beans.
